Well, this is an exciting moment in WCP's history - we are actually blogging now! What a long journey it's been from our start 11 years ago with a few concerts around Walden Pond. "Job satisfaction" is definitely 100% and I never seize to marvel at all the things I am constantly learning as we continue to grow........
Latest truly exciting news is that we got a grant from Chamber Music America to do a Chamber Music Institute next fall in Nyack, NY. This should be a really wonderful project!!

Walden Chamber Players
- Christof Huebner, Artistic Director
- Christof Huebner, viola, is Walden’s Artistic Director and a member of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra. He is also a member of the Handel and Haydn Society Orchestra Born in Vienna, he attended the Vienna Conservatory and the Wiener Musikhochschule. He studied with Hatto Beyerle, violist of the Alban Berg Quartet, and was the recipient of a grant by the Alban Berg Foundation. Continuing his studies with Michael Tree at the Saint Louis Conservatory as a Fulbright Scholar, he received his artist diploma. Before coming to the US, he played with the Vienna Philharmonic, the Vienna State Opera, and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra. He is a frequent performer at music festivals such as Marlboro Festival, Rockport Chamber Music Festival, Salzburg Festival, and is on the faculty of the Killington Music Festival.
